About

My name is Stephan Partzsch and this blog covers two topics, the first part is coding, the second is photography.

Stephan Partzsch

Since June 2014 I am working as consultant for optimizing the efficiency in software development processes (including agile methologies) and as a freelance software engineer for iOS.

The past three years I worked as Senior Software Engineer at Wooga in Berlin. An international team of high-class developers creates very successful social games (mostly for Facebook), which are played all over the world. Therefore building scalable games with clean code and a robust core architecture is my primary purpose. Agile development processes and workflows support a continuous further development of these games. As a Certified Scrum Master with passion for efficiency I always try to find the ideal workflows which support agility and fit the needs of the game at the same time.

Before Wooga I have worked for multimedia companies like Scholz & Volkmer and Powerflasher (now part of Interactive Pioneers). Big rich internet applications as well as innovative projects for web and desktop were the main focus at this time. While designing the architecture I always had scalability and readable code in mind. We realized successful projects mainly with ActionScript, Flex and AIR in combination with Adobe Flash.

Beside the software development part I am very interested in photography. Since 1997 it is part of my hobbies and since 2002 I am working as freelance photographer. My focus is on architecture and product photography but I also worked a lot as a photographer on trade fairs like the Hannover trade fair.

Some private or commercial projects of both topics can be found on the project sites for coding and photography.
